This talented Lithuanian prog rock band played to an audience of 2 punters – (to paraphrase the most powerful man on earth) SAD! Despite this they played their full set (split into two parts) with conviction and the real losers were the missing prog fans of Glasgow. The classically trained Božena Buinicka (on keyboards and vocals) was an excellent foil to lead vocalist and guitarist Jonas Čiurlionis and they were given great support by bassist Justinas Tamaševičius and the amazing drummer (“how did he do that?”) Ilja Molodcov. They owe an obvious debt to Pink Floyd and early Genesis (and one of their more straightforward rock numbers had a strong echo of the late lamented The Soundtrack Of Our Lives) and even playing in a small pub basement failed to blunt the majesty of their widescreen music. If you are a fan of mature, complex rock music then this is a band that you should see live.
